A keen gardener wants to have his garden a unique place. The DIY pallet potting bench plan will practically give your garden a functional, and beautiful look. Lets start building up.

STEP 1: THE PALLETS

Get the kind of pallets you need. Design the potter bench, estimate the number of pots to be placed. Just like any other piece of furniture pallets for potting bench also need durability.

STEP 2: BREAK DOWN

Break down the pallet, using an old broken garden fork. It would help to remove the planks without any split or damage. Clean and sand the planks down before building.

STEP 3: THE FRAME

The pallet has to yield planks and posts. Cut 2 of the posts down to 3ft and leave the others at 4ft. Make half of 8ft planks into 4ft lengths. All nails have to be removed.

STEP 4: LET US BUILD

The construction is a pretty quick but simple process. Some other pieces of scraps of board, wood and off cuts can be used to create the frame. The frame is then assembled by attaching the pieces with nails and screws.

STEP 5: THE TOPPING

The work surface of the bench must have all the equipment needed. The planks are quite rough due to gaps and uneven lumps and bumps. Materials like laminated floor boards can be best workplace due to their smooth surface. Even cleaning is not that difficult on such surfaces.

STEP 6: THE SELFING

An old fence somewhat like the one blown down by the wind can become a good lower shelf. The shelves are combined and then painted. Scroll the saw to shape the bottom rail. Make a cardboard template for a proper shape. Add an eye level shelf, some hooks for tools but a day later.

So happy gardening. Plant more.
